Kindly be informed that International Organization for Standardization ISO on 15 September 2015 adopted new versions of standards ІSО 9000:2015 and ІSО 9001:2015. According to the order of the Ukrainian National Agency of Standardization (SE «UkrSRTC») № 221 dated 31.12.2015 since July 01, 2016 the following national standards were adopted by harmonization method and issued in Ukrainian language:
Requests for certification of quality management systems for compliance with the standard ДСТУ ІSО 9001:2009 (ІSО 9001:2008, IDT) are being accepted by SRU till 15.06.2017.
Certificates for the new version ДСТУ ІSО 9001:2015 may be obtained during the scheduled supervisory audits or recertification during a transition period till 15.09.2018.
For that purpose management systems existing at your enterprise are to be amended according to the new requirements, whereupon application and survey questionnaire are to be tendered to the certification body. Application Forms and questionnaires are available on our website. When upgrading to a new version of the standard during scheduled supervisory audit the new certificate is issued for the validity period of current certificate.
At the same time kibdly be informed, as Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 10.05.1993 №46-93 «On Standardization and Certification» expires since 01.01.2018, state certification system will cease to exist. Therefore, renewal of certificates of compliance registered in UkrSEPRO system for enterprises, certified by SRU, will be implemented within the supervisory audits during 2017.
26-08-2016 - Shipping Register of Ukraine puts into effects new regulatory documentation
Shipping Register of Ukraine upwards 01/10/2016 will put into effect “Rules for Classification and Construction of Small Vessels. Bulletin of Amendments No 1”, 2016.

01-04-2016 - New edition of Rules for Classification and Construction of Inland Navigation Vessels
From 01.07.2016 the Shipping Register of Ukraine puts in force the new edition of Rules for Classification and Construction of Inland Navigation Vessels, 2016, in three volumes: Volume 2, Volume 3 and Volume 4. Mentioned Rules are published on the official website in Section "Publication".
2-12-2015 - 29-th Assembly of International Maritime Organization, London, Great Britain
Representatives of the Shipping Register of Ukraine, Director General Kyryko Shalamay and Main Expert of the Rules and Regulation Development Department Oleksandr Kostiuk, on an official delegation of Ukraine took part in the work of the 29-th Assembly of International Maritime Organization, London, Great Britain, 23 November 2 December, 2015. During the Assembly, it was negotiated with representatives of the Maritime Administrations of Panama, Liberia, Togo, Kazakhstan, Sierra Leone concerning authorization for performing class and statutory surveys of ships. Also is was carried out a preliminary consultations with the representatives of Maritime Administrations of Malta and Belgium concerning possible audit of the Shipping Register of Ukraine on compliance with requirements of Regulation 391/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council on Common Rules and Standards for Ship Inspection and Survey Organizations.
22-05-2015 - Delegation of the Shipping Register of Ukraine took part in the work of Scheduled Council Meeting of Non-Profit Organization “International Association of Technical Survey and Classification Institutions” (TSCI) in Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam)
From 20 till 22 of May, 2015 Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) hosted the Scheduled Council Meeting of Non-Profit Organization “International Association of Technical Survey and Classification Institutions” (TSCI). Delegations of Vietnam Register, Cuban Register of Shipping, Russian River Register, Slovak Lloyd, Shipping Register of Kazakhstan, Intermaritime Certification Services, Istmuth Bureau of Shipping took part in the meeting. Shipping Register of Ukraine was represented by Director General Kyrylo Shalamay and Deputy Director General Igor Makhek.
Delegations were acquainted with results of TSCI’s activity for the period June 2014 – May 2015, established new strategic lines of TSCI’s development, analyzed international practice concerning ensuring quality of shipping trough development and implementation of new standards for safety and protective of marine environment, considered a matter of regional cooperation and trends for development and improving of international legislation.
03-06-2014 - Meeting of non-profit organization International Association of Technical Survey and Classification Institutions
rom 3 till 5 of June, 2014 Ha Noi hosted the regular meeting of non-profit organization “International Association of Technical Survey and Classification Institutions” (TSCI). Delegations of Vietnam Register, Cuban Register of Shipping, Polish Register of Shipping, Russian River Register, Slovak Lloyd took part in the work of the meeting. Shipping Register of Ukraine was represented by Director General Sergii Fadieiev and Main Specialist of the International and Legal Division Oleksandr Kostiuk.
TSCI Council was advised with Annual report of TSCI Secretariat on TSCI activities for the period of June 2013 – May 201 as well as reports of the working groups. It was discussed and agreed the annual plan of TSCI activities and financial plan for the period May 2014-June 2015. Subsequent to the decision of TSCI Council the Shipping Register of Ukraine will continue the chair in the TSCI Quality Working Group till 2015.

29-11-2012 - Representatives of the Shipping Register of Ukraine Director General S. Fadieiev and Main Specialist of the International and Legal Division O. Kostiuk took part in the work of regular Assembly of International Maritime Organization on the delegation of Ukraine.
In the process of the Assembly the delegation of Ukraine had a meeting with Andrew Winbow, IMO Maritime Safety Division Director, at which Director General of the Shipping Register of Ukraine Mr. Fadieiev passed Report to the Secretary-General of International Maritime Organization on behalf of Ukraine on execution of Regulation’s I/8 requirements of STCW Convention.
18-07-2012 - Representatives of the Shipping Register of Ukraine visited Head Quarter of classification society Isthmus Bureau of Shipping (IBS) (Republic of Panama)
Visit was conducted in order to start implementation of Cooperation Agreement between Shipping Register of Ukraine and Isthmus Bureau of Shipping as well as trainings of surveyors of Shipping Register of Ukraine in the IBS system according to the following: quality management system; survey database; procedures for the surveys on SOLAS, MARPOL, LOAD LINE; Certification of ships in accordance with ISM and ISPS Codes; procedure for survey of ships with gross tonnage less than 500; annual surveys on behalf of Panama Maritime Administration.
After graduating trainings IBS issued for three surveyors of the Shipping Register of Ukraine Surveyor’s Certificates of Authorization which indicates types of works, numbered identification surveyor’s cards, personal stamps, IBS tariffs, authorization for access to data base of fleet under supervision of the IBS.
Presently the Shipping Register of Ukraine is a representative of Isthmus Bureau of Shipping in Ukraine and may perform classification and statutory supervision of ships classed by IBS and flagged by Panama, Belize, Jamaica, Honduras and Bolivia.
